Crafted in the Bearn countryside (France) inside the yellow walls of the Georges Store factory castle. All stages of design and manufacturing these unique pieces are carried out onsite.
Georges ethos relies on using locally sourced materials for the curation of their collections. Designed with raw objects and materials in mind with inspiration from minerals and vegetables. The cotton canvas used to craft the petals sourced from Normandie and coloured by the Georges team.
The rattan is received in large bundles and anchored on site which gives its flexibility. Rattan is a living material giving it the beauty of naturally evolving over time according to it’s conditions.
The wood used is sourced from Ukarinian turners which is burnt for decorating. All colours are born from natural pigments and hand painted on.
